This site provides a grid with 128x128 tiles to place Ion Beam Emitters and Ion Prisms and aim the Prisms,
hopefully making it easier to make
compact Ion Cores. After finishing your Core, click Download to get a .ship.png file that you can
import
into the game.
Warning: there's no error checking, if you place a Part in a forbidden
place (on top of another)
the game won't accept the blueprint.
Mouse:
Left Click to place a Part after adding from Prism/Emitter buttons.
Left Click on a placed Part to select.
Left Click drag on a selected Part to move.
Left Click drag anywhere else to scroll.
Right Click on a selected or not yet placed Part to rotate it.
Right Click drag to aim a selected Prism.
Buttons:
Precision: Aim precision, in Game units.
Prism: Creates Prism, follows mouse until placing. Place with Left Click.
Emitter: Creates Emitter, follows mouse until placing. Place with Left Click.
Remove: Remove selected Part or cancel adding a Part.
Download: Generate and download a .ship.png file that you can import into the game.
Keyboard:
1: Place Prism.
2: Place Emitter.
R: Rotate Selected.
X: Remove Selected.
W or Up Arrow: Move aim UP for selected Prism according to precision.
A or Left Arrow: Move aim LEFT for selected Prism according to precision.
S or Down Arrow: Move aim DOWN for selected Prism according to precision.
D or Right Arrow: Move aim RIGHT for selected Prism according to precision.
Obs: The aim is a coordinate you set with the mouse (length 30 if unset). If the aim is closer to the
prism,
the precision
will have a bigger effect.
Outside Color on Prism, triangle color on Emitter:
Black: Not hitting a Prism.
Blue: Hitting a Prism.
Inside Color on Prism:
Grey: Not being hit.
Yellow: Hit by 1 beam.
Green: Hit by 2 beams.
Red: Hit by more than 2 beams.
Beam Color:
Grey: Not hitting.
Light Green: Hitting.
Yellow line in the middle: Prism or Emitter that generates this beam is selected.
